Commercial Esspresso Machine

Commercial Grade Espresso Machines Make the Best Espressos

Do you own a restaurant, diner or coffee shop? If you do, then you have no doubt had customers requesting espressos. If you have a lot of customers wanting the best espresso that money can buy, then you owe it to yourself to invest in a commercial grade espresso machine. A commercial grade espresso machine will not only churn out espressos with record speed to handle the large influx of customers, but you’ll also get the best espressos that can only come from such a machine. Once word gets out that your store is offering a great and consistent cup of espresso, you will have customers beating down your door. If you don’t believe me just take a look the growth chart of Starbucks stores across the country, although..they grew a bit too fast and had to close a few of their stores recently.

How To Compete

Coffee shops have quickly become the in thing. Places like Starbucks, McDonals and Dunkin Donuts all offer a high priced, high quality coffee, and many are now also offering espressos. The only way to compete with these big named places, however, is by offering your espressos made from commercial grade espresso machines, although you may have to start out by offering them much cheaper than these big name competitors. You will be able to afford to offer them cheaper when you start pumping out espresso after espresso with your commercial grade espresso machine. Most commercial grade machines are ultra powered so they can make espressos faster and because your overhead is likely lower than the big named places, you can offer them cheaper. If customers find out you offer a equal or superior product at a much lower price they will convert to your brand in no time and word will quickly spread about your great espresso.

Advertising

Once you get a commercial grade espresso machine, and start churning out espresso after espresso you will need to make sure you advertise heavily that your store is offering great espressos at a lower cost than your competitors. America is crazy about its caffeine and you’ll likely have customers lining up just to get their caffeine fix. When they see how fast you can make espressos, and how good they are, when they are made from a commercial grade espresso machine, the customers will flock to your establishment like you wouldn’t believe.

Increase Your Business

It’s a proven fact that once you have a commercial grade machine you can expect an influx of customers to your business. Most coffee shops are busy all of the time. Many have created an environment for people to come and relax. Many shops now offer free internet access and may offer books for sale or have magazines and newspapers available for their customers to read. Remember, the longer they stay, the more espressos they will drink and the more money you will make. So get on the ball and purchase a commercial espresso machine for your establishment and start increasing your sales today.

Delonghi Coffee Maker Replacement Parts

DeLonghi EMK6: Notice It!

The fact that there are machines around that allows people to be creative with coffee is really something that catches my interest.  For a person like of me, it’s kind of weird to say this.  I never liked coffee.  It’s bitter and totally unappealing!  But one time when I went to an appliance store, I saw this really cool espresso coffee maker.  I was not really there to look for coffee makers.  I went there to find something to replace my century-old TV set.  But I saw that thing that thing that makes espressos and I just couldn’t stop myself from being interested.  Espresso by the way is a coffee beverage that’s brewed by forcing hot water under pressure through finely ground coffee beans.  It is usually thicker and creamier than ordinary coffee.

Now, back to the coffee maker, the very beautiful and friendly saleslady there said that it is Italian in design and Italian in its ways.  So whatever comes out of it has some sort of an Italian touch to it.  I don’t know if she’s really telling the truth but she obviously knows better than I do and it’s expected of someone who knows little like me to just listen.

When I got bored with her because she got to do all the talking, I asked if I could try manipulating it.  Surprisingly, she gave her permission.  She really was friendly. Upon doing so, I realized that it needs less human intervention than other coffee makers that I’ve encountered.  Its boiler automatically switches off when it’s done and the coffee inside it will be kept warm for up to thirty minutes after that.  With this, you could actually other things while brewing your favorite coffee beverage without having to worry about it getting burned or over brewed.  In addition to that, the container is even transparent and it let’s you see the wonders that’s going on in it.  And I’m not done yet; my friend also said that it has safety features that make it safe for first timers to use it without expert assistance.

This product that I’m talking about is the Delonghi EMK6 Alicia Electric Moka Espresso Coffee Maker! And it’s just so cool that before I knew it, the beverage is ready to drink! The saleslady offered me a drink and I was too embarrassed to refuse it.  So, with one sip I thought that I just tasted Italy.  Now for this part, I admit that I may be exaggerating.  I’ve never been to Italy! But so much for that, those were the thing that I just thought you needed to know. So, yeah, I’m done!

The coffee: an indispensable drink for Italians

Even in times of crisis, the Italian families do not give up the daily ritual of coffee. The market for roasted coffee retailers, with a size of over 130,000 tons, worth around 1 billion euro last year was marked by a substantial stability in volumes and an increase of over 5% of sales value due to the increase in the average price. In a framework of consumption that have long since reached the ceiling in terms of volume, innovation and diversification become key levers. Within the market, the segment of the coffee pods (pods and capsules) continues to be particularly dynamic, which in the year ending in May 2009 scored a 65% increase in volume.

The new coffee-makers are really more efficient more convenient, although they will probably never completely supplanted the pot, they are also conquering an important part of the market. The coffee in this way confirms his position as the most popular among hot drinks for Italians, that even in this period do not give up the pleasure of a good coffee whenever possible. In Milan in 1764 wondered if you asked for a coffee, you could have in exchange a magazine. The cultural paper named “Coffee” by the brothers Verri, dealing with issues of social renewal. And what say of the great Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni, who called sixteen comedies exactly “The Coffee Shop”, with the intent to reform the eighteenth-century theater.

If you ask today an espresso, you will be given a cup containing just a few inches of the drink, most often accompanied by a glass of sparkling or smooth water depending on the availability of the local and, in most cases is, however, is drunk after and not before, as it should rather be done to “wash” the palate and savor the full flavor.

The cafe has become changeable as the tastes are changing today. For less sophisticated palates, there is the “American” coffee, a brew in which the typical flavor is lost forever in the heated water. For those who are less international and want to integrate better in a multiethnic society, in Turin you may request a “Moroccan” and you will be served coffee with cocoa powder and milk foam. For the same, if you order in Bologna, you must use the name “Mont Blanc”.

The use of coffee today is more and more rampant. From coffee at house to the office coffee vending machines when we have a free minute. Now there are also cosmetic creams based on caffeine to reduce cellulite. And what about the ginseng, which seems to convey the uses of Eastern tradition and our tradition, adding to the drink the energizing root. To cater for every taste, the coffee can be served inside a chocolate, cold in a can, or freeze-dried without the need of the cafeteria. In short, however you can call it and how much preparation you can develop, coffee still remains, even if abused, substandard and sometimes even a little snubbed, by definition the interlude more loved by the Italians.

Electric Tea Maker

electric tea maker

Braun Coffee – the History of Braun and Their Dripolator Coffee Maker

In 1963, the Braun company had come out with one of the world’s first commercially available dripolator machines, the Braun Coffee Maker. Designed for commercial use, it changed the way people looked at making a cup of coffee.

Before the Braun Coffee Maker, people used a stove top percolator machine to brew their coffee. From home to commercial use, perking coffee was the only way to get a cup of joe. Later versions of percolator machines were electric, and could be plugged directly into a socket.

The difference between percolators and dripolators is what changed the world of coffee as Americans knew it. Instead of having to perk coffee, people were able to fill up a separate water reservoir, put coffee grounds into a filter and put the filter into a basket. From there, one simply had to plug in the machine and turn it on.

The water would then heat up in the water reservoir and drip onto the freshly ground coffee. As it made the journey through the grounds, the water would turn into coffee, much like one would brew a cup of tea. By the time the hot water made its way through the coffee grounds and dripped into the empty pot below, it was a perfect cup of coffee.

The filter kept the grounds from mixing in with the actual coffee, and a new way to complete a daily task was born. While the Braun Coffee Maker was the first one on the market for commercial use, it wasn’t the first one to hit the kitchen counter of the average American citizen.

What the Braun Coffee Maker did for commercial use, Mr. Coffee did for home use. In 1972, Mr. Coffee was on store shelves. Pitched by former baseball player Joe DiMaggio, the machine became wildly popular in the 1970s and 1980s.

Which Coffee Machine Best Buy

which coffee machine best buy

Coffee machines

Before you pick up an expensive coffee maker for yourself, have a review on the following factors:

a) Usage: How many cups of coffee will you be brewing in a single serving? If you have a small family and will be brewing only one to two cups, then there is no need to buy a big coffee machine that you may have seen and fancied in the coffee shop. It will be an unnecessary waste of money.

b) What type of coffee are you looking for? You may be fond of espresso or black coffee or cappuccino. Decide on what you want in your home accordingly. Or probably you may want a coffee maker that can brew all types, just in case your guests have different taste.

c) Features: If you are a first time buyer of coffee machine, then you probably will not have a clear idea of what features you should be looking for. The best way to judge on the features is to study various coffee machines and understand the features they offer. Few things that you can look at are Pause and Serve feature, Pod compatibility, Digital Controls, Water filters etc. A pause and serve feature will allow you to remove the coffee pot before the brewing cycle is complete, without coffee dribbling all over the coffee plate. Pod compatibility can let you make coffee in a snap without going through the mess of loose coffee grounds.

You can visit www.thestorehouse.com.au to view different coffee machines, study their features and pick up one for yourself.

Coffee Service Companies

How to Save Money by Using a Coffee Service

There are many excellent reasons why a company would choose to provide coffee for its employees, customers and clients, but can you really save money using a coffee service? When you count in all of the costs associated with providing coffee for your business, you may be pleasantly surprised to find out just how cost-effective it can be to use a coffee service for your office coffee needs. Take a look at some of the obvious, and not so obvious, cost benefits of using a coffee service as opposed to providing the same coffee and machine on your own.

The Cost of the Coffee Machine

When considering the cost of the coffee machine, be sure to evaluate your office’s needs in terms of cups of coffee served per day. If you’re making more than two or three pots of coffee a day for your office or company, chances are that a coffee maker designed for use in a home kitchen just won’t do. While you may not need a coffee machine designed for restaurant or coffee shop use, you do need one that will handle higher traffic than the typical kitchen coffee maker or you’ll be replacing the coffee machine every few months. A coffee maker that can handle the typical office or business traffic will easily cost you upwards of $150-$200, while a top-of-the-line coffee machine or a coffee vending machine can easily run into the thousands of dollars.

By contrast, most office coffee service companies provide a high quality, professional coffee maker for free as long as you contract to buy a minimum amount of coffee and supplies through their service.

The Cost of Coffee through an Office Coffee Service

Office coffee service companies tend to buy their materials from coffee suppliers in large quantities. These companies are usually able to get a discounted price for the coffee that they buy. In general, you won’t pay more for coffee bought through an office coffee service than you would if you bought the coffee at your local supermarket or through a coffee subscription service. There are, however, many other ways that you’ll see savings when you buy coffee through a coffee service.

- Coffee ordered from a coffee service is delivered directly to your office on a pre-determined schedule. That means that no one has to spend time shopping for coffee and no one has to run out in the middle of the day to buy coffee because you’ve run out.

- Generally, the coffee service will deliver coffee packaged in pre-measured pouches just right for making one pot of coffee. That helps you control the amount of coffee that’s used per pot, potentially saving you money on every pot of coffee.

- If you choose a single serve coffee system, your potential savings are even greater. Because your employees will be making coffee to order, one cup at a time, you won’t be pouring old coffee down the drain because it’s become undrinkable.

In addition to the savings you’ll get by choosing a coffee service, you’ll also be serving better coffee. You won’t be brewing up ground coffee that’s gone stale in the can or the bag because your coffee will be in vacuum packed pouches or cups until just before you brew it.

Save Money on Supplies and Equipment through an Office Coffee Service

Your coffee supplier will also offer a range of coffee making equipment and supplies to mix with your coffee. That means that you won’t be paying supermarket prices for cream, milk, sugar and creamer for office use. Similar to the coffee, you’ll be able to purchase office coffee supplies through your coffee service in individual serving packets, which is both more sanitary and more economical. You won’t be throwing away cream or milk that’s gone bad in the refrigerator, or running down to the store to pick up another quart of milk before a big meeting.

Those supplies also include napkins, coffee cups and stirrers. Disposable coffee supplies are optional, of course, but could be an enormous boon if you regularly serve coffee to clients or customers.

Save Money on Repairs, Service and Replacement

One expense that’s not often counted when you’re calculating the cost of providing coffee at the office is the cost of maintenance. A coffee machine requires regular maintenance and cleaning in order to continue making good coffee. A broken coffee carafe often means buying a new coffee maker because it can be difficult to replace the carafe with the right size.

When you use an office coffee service, your service provider takes on the responsibility for maintaining and servicing your machine on a regular schedule. If your coffee machine malfunctions, the coffee service will replace or repair it, often within 24 hours so that you’re not left without a functioning coffee machine for your employees and customers. Depending on your contract with the coffee service, those replacements may be at no cost to you, or at a very nominal cost.

An office coffee service isn’t right for every office, but if your company provides coffee for employees or for customers and clients, it’s an option well worth exploring. If you’re considering using an office coffee service, the points above can help you make a realistic analysis of your possible savings.

Automatic Coffee Grinder

Four Categories of Coffee Grinders

Coffee Grinders, Categories of Coffee Grinders, Office and Home Coffee Grinders, Espresso Grinders meant for Light Commercial Usage, Commercial Coffee Grinders, Retail Coffee Grinders

Almost everyone around the world love to drink coffee. It must be the addicting caffeine kick that entices people to this popular drink.

Breakfast will not be complete with a freshly brewed cup of coffee to start the day. Coffee is also the favorite companion of students staying up late at night when studying for an exam. It is also beside the businessmen staying up late at night to finish some reports in front of the computer.

Coffee is also present in social gatherings. Friends would catch up with their stories while clutching their favorite cups of coffee. This is also the reason why coffee shops have become so prevalent and profitable today. It has become the rendezvous for friends of families.

Whatever the reason is, people drink coffee. And because of this, it has sparked interests to make coffee cups at homes. After all, if one drinks coffee regularly, like once or twice a day, it will be very costly and impractical to buy a cup each time in coffee shops.

And thus, coffee grinders are widely available in the market to cater to the many lovers of this caffeine drink. To note, there are four categories of coffee grinders and these will be discussed below in more detail. These are classified according to use.

The first category is the office and home coffee grinders for personal use. Most of these are portable but they are also durable when cleaned and maintained well. As a general rule, the heavier the coffee grinder, the better. It is because coffee grinders with heavy and large motors produce more torque in a comparatively slow speed. They have ample power to actually grind coffee beans, excluding the need to heat them up.

These coffee grinders are enough to make five to ten cups of coffee in one brewing. It can serve a whole family or a couple of officemates at work.

Espresso grinders are the second type, good for small restaurants or coffee shops. These usually weigh 10 lbs or more. The espresso grinders are really more for commercial use. It produces stronger flavors of coffee, that a small serving holds a strong percentage of caffeine. It also produces more cups in a single brewing. Thus, it is good even with high traffic of customers in peak hours.

The third type is the commercial coffee grinders. It is mainly built to grind several pounds of good coffee all throughout the day, without the risk of overheating the appliance. This is because commercial types of coffee grinders have very large electrical motors and additionally large hoppers. Although these grinders are heavy and large, they still run with 110/220 Volts of standard power. Thus, almost all commercial types of coffee grinders have a so-called doser and are fully automatic.

The last type is retail coffee grinders. They are basically used in gourmet coffee shops and supermarkets. It grinds fast and with precision. These are the coffee grinders you see in small outlets serving cups of coffee to a long queue.

Coffee Maker Best

Kinds Of Coffee Maker Explained

If you’re thinking of buying a coffee maker, there are numerous different types to select from. Read on for more regarding the kinds of coffee machine that are available.

In addition to fresh coffee – either ground or espresso beans – numerous coffee units work utilizing ESE coffee pods (a fixed disk of ground coffee beans inside filter paper). A few take capsules, which are manufactured from either plastic or perhaps foil, and they are approximately the dimensions and shape of a single helping UHT milk package.

Pods and capsules – which will hold real coffee – might turn out to be more pricey than fresh coffee, but they are much easier to work with. A good number of espresso systems just take ground coffee beans, which you can purchase without problems from supermarkets.

Additionally, you can pick up a coffee grinder and grind beans in your house. Making use of freshly ground coffee beans may well enhance the taste, but pre-ground coffee is acceptable for the majority of palates.

Standard coffee makers

The vast majority of coffee machines utilize a motor powered pump to be able to force the exact amount of water needed for one espresso via a thermo block, which in turn warms up the water instantly then forces it via the gourmet coffee. Frequently, they create 10 to 19 bars of pressure.

On the other hand, you may also buy cheaper pressure-machines, which usually operate at close to 3-5 bars of pressure. Picking a coffee machine that needs ground coffee beans will give you the biggest collection of options and there are numerous options available for modest cost.

Bean-to-cup espresso machines

When you need the freshest coffee available, a bean-to-cup coffee machine often is the appropriate option. Quite a few bean-to-cup coffee brewers are automated – you simply insert espresso beans and the equipment will grind all of them and dispense and tamp the required amount with the simple press of a button.

You have no need to utilize a porta filtration system – the coffee maker really does all the work for you. Bean-to-cup coffee makers are typically pricier compared to regular styles and they could be noisy. But they are user friendly, produce amazing coffee.

Capsule coffee machines

Capsule coffee machines are increasingly common Capsule coffee machines provide espresso for the hi tech generation – and folks that lead very hectic lives. In lieu of messing around with ground coffe beans, simply add a pre-packaged container of coffee to your system, touch a button, and await espresso to push out out of the spout.

Capsule coffee makers are convenient and clean, extremely easy and there are plenty of choices well below the $400 mark. Level of quality can vary though, check coffeemaker reviews to make sure you’re buying the top unit.

The principle downside is without a doubt that a majority of capsule brewers simply take one particular version of capsule (eg Nespresso, Dolce Gusto). What’s more, the coffee you get from the capsule machine is pricey.

Additional factors to bear in mind when selecting a coffee maker

* Size Ahead of buying, look at where you are likely to keep the coffeemaker. If you are planning to stow it away, check it’s actually light-weight enough to carry with no trouble. And when you decide on a especially weighty model, look for a store featuring home shipping and delivery.

* Drip trays All these should be quick to lift up and pull off. Stainless trays need to have polishing in addition to washing.

* Firmness of porta filter When you are in the retail outlet, see if it is possible to conveniently fit and remove the coffee maker’s porta filter. For those who find this challenging, a capsule coffeemaker may perhaps be better in your case.

* Capacity For those who make espresso just from time to time, capsules or pods are usually handy – they create just one shot at any given time and also stay fresh for many weeks.

Choosing which unique blend to make use of along with your coffee machine There are countless coffee blends provided by specialist suppliers which you may select from. Proudly owning an espresso maker means you’re able to research styles along with roasts to search for the blend which fits your own style.

Certain espresso blends have close to 15% of Robusta, which helps to build a greater crema (foam) and contributes to intensity. Espresso machines must have finely ground coffee, which creates the correct balance to permit hot water to flow through at the proper pressure. In case you have a coffee grinder, set it to grind extra fine.
