Automatic Espresso Machine Review Helps You Buy the Right Machine

Why do you think many prefer automatic espresso machine for preparing their tasty brew? Simple…it does everything automatically, that is, all by itself without any user intervention. Great…how much time is saved? What these automatic espresso machines do? Grinding of coffee beans, putting them in the hopper, filling and heating the necessary amount of water and finally giving you the best coffee each and every time is what these automatic espresso machines do. You need not worry about preparing coffee anymore. You just have to clean the dishes. How easy! Few automatic espresso machines even fill the hopper with coffee powder for you to use the next time.

It is always a good method to read the automatic espresso machine reviews before you buy them. However, don’t read the reviews that are available on the manufacturer’s website. In general, manufacturers try to pose that their product is only “the best” in the market. What you have to do is read automatic espresso machine reviews that are written by people who really own such a machine.

These manufacturers will have their own Internet websites where the customers will be allowed to post automatic espresso machine reviews. Here, a customer or a buyer can post both the advantage and disadvantage of owing an automatic espresso machine. This helps the manufacturer to know what really people want and at the same time gives the potential customers an edge about how the espresso machine really works. Merely reading an automatic espresso machine review is not going to help you. Understand the concept and make a thorough analysis based on the automatic espresso machine review that you read. This is what is going to help you in taking the decision.

Key element in any espresso is its grinder as this is what is going to determine the consistency of the coffee. This is the reason why some owners have a grinder separately for this purpose. However, if you have read automatic espresso machine review that is not biased, you would have understood that it is not the grinder that determines the taste of the brew.

Key features in an espresso machine:

Do not stop your research with the manufacturer’s website alone. There are other websites that deals with automatic espresso machine reviews. It is worth looking at automatic espresso machine reviews that are posted in different websites when you are going to invest your hard earned money on espresso machines. Make your decision depending on whether the machine has a facility to be connected directly to the water line or you will have to pour water manually or it is possible to do both. You can be well prepared if you know the pros and cons of the automatic espresso machine.

When reading through an automatic espresso machine review read it thoroughly and see if this is what you are looking for in your machine. No machine will have all positive reviews, which is for sure. Don’t go for a machine that has only negative reviews. If you are not familiar with various brands that are available in the market, reading through the automatic espresso machine review will give you an idea about various brands along with its pros and cons. This will help you in getting the machine that suits your need as well as fit your pocket.

How to Make Relishing, Addictive and Tasty Coffee?

Whether it’s Jamocha, Expresso, Cappuccino or cafe noir the flavour and taste of coffee continues to be the ultimate obsession! But at the same time, being enslaved with the addictive cup of mocha and quenching your brew temptation in expensive cafes and joints can literally leave you bankrupt. Believe me; making good coffee is not a herculean task. All that you need is the concept, quality and experience. If it still sounds confusing, this is all you need to read.

So let’s give it a start! It’s very important to purchase quality seeds, especially for those who are Columbian blend aficionadas. It hardly matters, whether you crave to have a fresh and delicious one or reuse the one left after the breakfast. It’s your selected beans which ultimately gives you the refreshing treat!

But at the same time, just don’t go for the colour of the beans or the fresh smell of it. Rather, it’s important to purchase only those beans, which have been stored in air tight packages. It is because, the very moment the coffee beans are taken out from the roasters, they lose their flavours and its various subtleties, on account of the exposure with air. You can also judge the quality of the supplied seeds on the basis of the valve factor.

So, what’s the valve factor? Well, if the coffee bags have just one valve, it’s meant for allowing the gases to go out of the valve and prevents the beans for the exposure with outside air. In the same manner, if you want more taste, just try grounding the beans, manually rather than through any mixer grinder. In case, you don’t have the time to grind the beans by yourself, choose a reliable grinder and always keep it clean. Any kind of deposits on the machine can be easily cleaned with the help of vinegar.

After grinding the beans, make sure that you immediately brew the coffee, otherwise the flavour will be lost. It’s very essential that the grinding should be done in the refined manner and its fineness should be similar to the brewing method which is adopted by you.

At the same time, you should use cold, fresh and clean water for mixing with the coffee. Always avoid the softened or distilled water.

Make sure that the post is warm and clean. As soon, as you brew your cup of coffee, drink it. Make sure that the coffee which you have made is ample for your emergent need. Always remember, nothing tastes better than a fresh cup of coffee. So, do not go for reheating the leftover brewed coffee. It will never taste the same and end up, conferring you with sour and bitter taste.

Lastly, the real taste of good coffee resides in its flavour rather than extra additions of milk, sugar or cream. At the same time, do not have more than two cups of coffee in a day. So relish the taste and have it lingering in your lips, soul and mind.

Why Does One Love An Espresso

Coffee is grown in over seventy countries, from Indonesia to Brazil. Yet the total production of coffee is relatively small because it is such a fussy plant. Even though we call it a coffee bean, this is a misnomer. The little pod that is roasted, ground and brewed is actually the seed of the fruit that grows on the coffee tree. The coffee tree grows to twenty feet as a rule, but can reach heights of 45 feet. Most of these seeds come in pairs. There is one, called the pea berry, that looks like a cranberry with a sweet pulp and covered with a silvery membrane. Coffee grows in a  band of about 25 degrees to the north and to the south, near the equator that encirlces the world. The reason for the concentration in this area is because coffee requires temperatures between 60F (15C) and 70F (21C) and a rainfall of six inches per month or more. In addition, coffee needs a specialized soil that is loamy and well drained. High humidity, found in mountain areas is also ideal. Diffused light and light breezes are also part of ideal conditions. Since oxygen is scarce at these altitudes, the trees mature slowly. All of these conditions cause the output of coffee to be low.

There is a coffee bean that can grow in lower altitudes,  robusta, or coffea canephora, and it is also disease resistant. For these reasons, it is used for the majority of coffee. But coffee gourmets will insist on high altitude coffee arabica.

A coffee tree will take five years to produce its first crop of coffee, and a single tree only yields about 2,00 beans, about two pounds of coffee.

The beans have to be manually harvested by coffee pickers. This is a highly specialized skill, since pickers need to be able to differentiate between the good beans and the bad beans. They choose each bean individually. No wonder coffee is expensive.

Coffee trees have broad dark leaves and produce a flower that blossoms over a six to eight week period. This long blossoming period, the longest being in the areas closest to the equator, such as Kenya or Colombia, means that beans are ripening at different rates and mature beans can be right next to immature ones. The coffee picker has to be careful.

From first blossom to final harvest can take as long as nine months for coffee. This cycle will repeat over and over for the life of the tree, 20 to 25 years. Even under the best conditions of cultivation, a hectare will yield only between 6,600 lbs (3,000 kg) and 8,800 lbs (4,000 kg). Then the beans have to be brought down from these inhospitable growing areas to the processing areas and shipped out at a rate that makes coffee the second largest volume commodity.

You will no longer wonder why that delicious cup of coffee that came out of your expresso machine costs so much when you consider the journey it took.

What’s the difference between Delonghi Magnifica and Delonghi Rialto Espresso/Latte Machines?

I see one’s selling for $599 and the other $899, and I wonder what’s the difference between the two machines?

I can’t tell. But I can say that Delonghi makes the best
coffee makers ever. Maybe the more expensive one
is just the upgraded model of the lesser one.

The Coffee Lovers’ Handy Guide

They say there’s an awful lot of coffee in Brazil – and there is! But the sheer variety of drinks it can be made into can cause confusion among those of us who just fancy a nice cup, and want something a bit different.
So, when you do venture into your local coffee shop or cafe, how do you know what to ask for? Should it be an americano, a filter, espresso or double skinny latte?  … unless you happen to be a real aficionado you could be forgiven for giving up, going home, and just unscrewing a jar of instant.
Well help is at hand; here is a quick guide to the most common choices, so you can order with confidence.
Espresso: these are those little cups with two mouthfuls in. Generally very strong they are made by forcing boiling water through ground coffee in a machine.
Filter: made using gravity, because the boiling water falls through the ground coffee, extracting the flavour.
Cafetiere: coffee is made by brewing the ground coffee and boiling water together, and a filter can be pushed down when the coffee is ready to be drunk, to separate the grains from the liquid.
Cappuccino: espresso coffee with frothed milk added to it, and cocoa powder shaken on top.
Latte: an espresso made with hot milk (skinny uses semi skimmed milk, double skinny uses skimmed, and a double latte just means double the amount of milk)
Americano: an espresso made with a lot of hot water, and so less strong than usual espresso.
But why stop there?
Apparently 70 per cent of us put sugar in our coffee. Many of us are also discovering there’s an interesting alternative to sweetening our coffee – flavoured syrups. They’re an easy and enjoyable way to customize a coffee and experiment with tastes.
The syrups come in a vast array of flavours to complement your coffee. Some sweet and others more subtle. It is even possible to get sugar-free versions. Most good coffee shops will offer a range of flavours to choose from.
The most popular coffee syrup is probably vanilla, and a small glug of this in your latte makes a really fantastic drink. Ginger was very popular over the winter and is likely to carry on being so. If you are very sweet-toothed you could try caramel coffee syrup, or even cinnamon coffee syrup. Nut fans might like hazelnut syrup and there is also coffee’s perfect accompaniment, amaretto syrup.
If you lack the confidence to go and order one – or just prefer to stay in – then you can actually buy a wide range of coffee syrups over the internet which you can add to homemade coffee. Many are imported from Europe but if you search you can get excellent, top quality British-made coffee syrups. Don’t forget they work in instant coffee too – a nice addition to your Nescafe!
And if you get bored with coffee, try adding them to pancakes or ice cream to brighten up a dull dessert.

Espresso Machines Reviews

espresso machines reviews
Espresso Machine?

I’m looking for an Espresso-Latte machine to buy my wife for Christmas. This is the first machine I’ve bought and would like some advice. Basically from what I’ve read one of the most important this is pump driven.

The DeLonghi EC155 doesn’t seem bad. It seems to carry decent reviews. http://www.amazon.com/DeLonghi-EC155-Espresso-Maker/dp/B000F49XXG/ref=pd_sbs_k?ie=UTF8&qid=1196695533&sr=1-11

Any other ideas and assistance?

Thanks

I have inserted a link below for a good starter machine. the link is to a seller that I have used for some time, but you can GOOGLE the GAGGIA to get a look at comparable prices.

Don’t get the DeLonghi, it can’t make good espresso. It’s a steam toy.

how do stove-top espresso machines work?

U know, the simple metal kettles with NO wires or any technology

The boiling water pushes through to where the coffee sits, the liquid is then pushed (by force of the boiling water) through the strainer which holds back the coffee grounds, then the coffee is done.
